STR: U.S. hotel results for week ending 4 May

U.S. hotel performance showed mixed results from the previous week, according to CoStar’s latest data through 4 May.

• Among the Top 25 Markets, Seattle reported the highest year-over-year increase in occupancy (+8.1% to 69.4%).
• Dallas posted the largest lift in ADR (+5.8% to US$134.33).
• The steepest RevPAR declines were seen in Atlanta (-12.7% to US$85.87) and San Francisco (-12.5% to US$123.02).

28 April - 4 May 2024 (percentage change from comparable weeks in 2023):

• Occupancy: 64.4 (-0.8%)
• Average daily rate (ADR): US$159.97 (+1.3%)
• Revenue per available room (RevPAR): US$103.09 (+0.5%)
