STR: U.S. hotel results for week ending 11 December

Of note, New York City reported the highest weekly occupancy level (81.5%) of any STR-defined U.S. market. NYC’s occupancy level was 13.0% lower than the 2019 comparable.

Amadeus Data Alert: US Holiday Season Hotel Occupancy Already Ahead of 2019 Booking Pace

For the 2021 holiday season, warm weather destinations lead the top markets for hotel occupancy in the US. Across both weeks, seven of the top markets are common including destinations in Florida, Hawaii, and California, though ranking varies slightly.
