STR: U.S. hotel results for week ending 25 December

While Omicron-related closures and service disruptions affected performance in New York City, overall U.S. occupancy was less impacted.

19-25 December 2021 (percentage change from comparable week in 2019):

• Occupancy: 44.3% (-8.7%)
• Average daily rate (ADR): US$121.87 (+0.5%)
• Revenue per available room (RevPAR): US$65.61 (-8.3%)

Christmas day occupancy (47.2%) was just above the previous high from 2015 (47.0%).
