STR: U.S. hotel results for week ending 20 April
U.S. hotel performance showed mixed results from the previous week, according to CoStar’s latest data through 20 April.
- Among the Top 25 Markets, Philadelphia reported the largest year-over-year increases in occupancy (+14.3% to 72.1%) and RevPAR (+23.2% to US$114.11).
- Washington, D.C., posted the only double-digit lift in ADR (+10.0% to US$226.25).
- The steepest RevPAR declines were seen in Chicago (-16.2% to US$105.97) and San Francisco (-9.7% to US$123.76).
14-20 April 2024 (percentage change from comparable weeks in 2023):
- Occupancy: 66.8 (-0.3%)
- Average daily rate (ADR): US$158.60 (+1.5%)
- Revenue per available room (RevPAR): US$105.94 (+1.2%)
